Kathryn & Shawn’s wedding was a beautiful traditional ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard at the Turnip Rose. The sun came out just for them after weeks of June gloom!! I think Kathryn actually “ordered” her perfect wedding weather. If you know her, you know how incredibly organized she is, so if it can happen, she will make it happen!! After the beautiful and warm ceremony, their guests were able to enjoy the cool, relaxed club atmosphere of Celebrations. There is nothing better than an DJ who can keep the floor busy, a couple that’s madly in love, great food (love, love, love the risotto!!), and chocolate dipped strawberries that can be filled with your choice of liqueur (never seen it done before). Kathryn and Shawn are two of the warmest, friendliest people you’ll ever meet and their wedding reflected that sense of open arms and joyfulness. I had such a blast photographing their wedding!
