When my friend called the other day, she pre-empted our conversation with…”Soooooooo, how much do you love me?” (UUUGGGHHH, what’s the catch) …..”so, I want to find out how much you would charge me for family pictures.” (My first thought was, oh, that is no big deal, not sure why she was worried!!) ….”weeeeeeell, the catch is, I have our dog and her NINE puppies that we want to have in the picture.” Well, needless to say, I laughed!! Of course, I love her enough to take their family photo, with or without the puppies, but then my thoughts turned to….how in the world are we going to get 9 puppies and their mom to behave long enough to get a family picture. We luckily they had a nice long narrow grassy area by their home to barricade the puppies while we settled in to shoot. Then everyone quickly grabbed a dog or two, sat down, we started to shoot fast. Only a few surprises, but a lot of sweat was shed in a matter of seconds!!! Herding 8 week old puppies is quite a chore and I have no idea how Jenny and Jared have done it for 8 weeks. They are all so beautiful…and your boys too!!! I know you’ll miss them, but I hope this helps you forever remember these fun/crazy 8 weeks with your sweet babies!!
